Prayer--everybody knows it is important but not everyone does it or knows how to do it. Through prayer God has given us permission to speak freely to Him. But what if we've missed it? Could it be that there is more to prayer than we thought? In this three-part series, we will unpack the words of Jesus to help us understand what God had in mind when He gave us the ability and the opportunity to talk to Him.

Vintage Christianity is a missional approach to church life and ministry, with a deep appreciation for the best our Christian heritage and how that can be translated into our modern world. It is the heritage that began with Jesus and his apostles as recorded in God's Bible. Over the next several weeks we will be studying the book of James and discover that vintage Christianity is for the present not just the past.
